About The Position
Performs various support functions in a research laboratory, ensuring adherence to proper procedures to prevent laboratory-acquired infections or sample-to-sample contamination. Responsibilities include maintaining and cleaning equipment and the facility, managing and restocking supplies, and updating a computer database. The role operates under direct supervision and requires strong attention to detail for managing multiple tasks. Flexibility is important to adapt to frequent changes in work volume. This is a 1-year limited tenure position with the possibility of extension for another year. This vacancy is not eligible for sponsorship, and Mayo Clinic does not participate in the F-1 STEM OPT extension program.
