A full-time position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Anna Duncan, Attending Neonatologist and Assistant Professor of Pediatrics. The newly established Duncan Lab at MGH utilizes zebrafish as a genetic model to study early onset neurodevelopmental disorders and epilepsy. We are seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented individual to assist with ongoing projects in our lab. Current projects focus on (1) the generation and phenotyping of transgenic zebrafish lines as models of early onset neurodevelopmental disorders and (2) genetic mimickers of hypoxia exposure in early neurodevelopment. Previous experience working with zebrafish in a research environment is a beneficial, but not required. Job Summary Summary Provides assistance to the Principal Investigator and Study Team in coordinating research activities that may include conducting a variety of routine experiments with established methodologies, data collection and management, and other research activities as assigned. Candidates who are in the process of completing their bachelor's degree have a grace period of six months from their hire date (up to 1 year if starting per diem) to provide degree equivalency verification.
