Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in neuroscience, psychology, biology or related field
  • Experience with rodent handling
  • Experience with behavioral observations in a scientific setting
  • Experience with prenatal drug exposure research
  • Wet-lab skills
  • Experience with fiber photometry and analysis

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day duties and maintenance of the lab
  • Help with study design
  • All aspects of the experiments including handling rats, behavioral testing and observations
  • Perform immunohistochemistry and other wet-lab experiments
  • Set-up and handle fiber photometry and analysis
  • Train new students
  • Design and present posters
  • Help with writing of manuscripts and grants
