About The Position

This is a contingent position with approximately 8-10 hours per week. The Research Assistant performs research experiments in accordance with provisions of the approved protocol, maintains records, prepares reports and publications, and assists in analyzing data. The role involves performing semi-independent research experiments reliably and reproducibly, collecting and curating experimental data, maintaining accurate daily logs, and drawing preliminary conclusions. The assistant will also help prepare scientific publications, grant proposals, and presentations, maintain inventory of equipment and supplies, and ensure research equipment is in good working order. Adherence to lab safety protocols and regulatory requirements is essential.

Responsibilities
