About The Position

The Research Assistant Level III will assist in conducting an exhaustive review of related regulations, guidance, or policy. The Research Assistant III shall support the analysis of current human factors data, processes, criteria, and analytical methods (analytical, subjective, and physiological). Chickasaw Nation Industries, Inc. serves as a holding company with multiple subsidiaries engaged in several lines of business (Business Services, Health, Infrastructure and Engineering, Mission Optimization, Technology and Transportation) for the federal government and commercial enterprises. Requirements

  • Must be able to obtain a customer clearance for access to facilities, equipment and property.
  • Master’s degree and five (5) + years experience conducting an exhaustive review of related regulations, guidance, or policy; or equivalent combination of education/experience.
  • Must demonstrate proficiency in both quantitative and qualitative data analysis, as well as hands-on experience developing survey questions, administering questionnaires using professional survey software such as Qualtrics, utilizing statistical software such as SPSS and/or R to analyze data, and collating results
  • Must possess extensive experience in academic writing, technical editing, and formal document formatting to support the execution of human factors research initiatives

Responsibilities

  • Conducting exhaustive literature searches, executing comprehensive literature reviews, and organizing complex SME notes, data, reports, and feedback
  • Supporting other project SMEs with real-time note-taking, data collection support during flight simulator beta testing, documentation of research results, and compiling foundational material for drafting and structuring technical reports.
  • Examining basic workload functions, workload factors, and authorized operations, as well as evaluating the potential benefits, limitations, and diagnostic tradeoffs of single versus combined metrics (observational, quantitative, and qualitative)
  • Assisting in evaluating and synthesizing human factors workload assessment literature, including both published and unpublished technical reports, providing foundational drafting and synthesis support of document findings in a technical report
