About The Position

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field plus one (1) year of research laboratory experience, including breeding and genotyping required.
• Knowledge in Biochemistry, Molecular and Cancer Biology, tissue culture, and microscopy skills.
• Must have demonstrated the ability to independently design and successfully carry out experiments in a laboratory setting.
• Must record data and report clearly on the study’s findings.
• Willingness to perform animal studies is required.
• Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working in a laboratory setting.
• Interest in obtaining grant funding to achieve career progression to faculty or staff scientist.

Responsibilities

• Designs and plans experiments.
• Participates in experimental transplantation, post-operative care, and analysis.
• Organizes and maintains the lab.
• Writes publications and protocols.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
