We are seeking a motivated Research Assistant I to support laboratory research activities and work alongside scientists and research professionals in a collaborative environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent with 2 years of related research experience.
Nice To Haves
- Associate degree in Life Sciences, Health Sciences, or a related field.
- Experience with molecular biology techniques and cell culture.
Responsibilities
- Process patient tumor specimens for the development of patient-derived organoid cultures.
- Maintain organoid cultures, including passaging, cryopreservation, thawing, and quality control.
- Perform routine cell culture using sterile laboratory techniques.
- Assist with laboratory assays, sample preparation, and data collection.
- Maintain accurate laboratory records and electronic documentation.
- Support data entry, organization, analysis, and report generation.
- Assist with inventory management, ordering supplies, and reagent preparation.
- Follow all laboratory safety policies and procedures.
