Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) is seeking a full-time Research Assistant for the Vanderbilt Psychiatric Neuromodulation Lab. This role focuses on the study of neuromodulation interventions for substance use and psychotic disorders. The research assistant will be responsible for recruiting research subjects, assisting investigators in data collection and analysis, and specifically working on a randomized, controlled trial of repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) for nicotine dependence in individuals with schizophrenia and healthy controls. This position requires a strong interest in working with individuals experiencing psychosis and nicotine dependence, excellent organizational and data management skills, and the ability to work independently. The ideal candidate is motivated and interested in pursuing further education in neuroscience, psychology, or a related field.
