This position serves as a subject matter expert, trainer, and content developer within the OFFICE OF EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, CHIEF OF STAFF/LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT OFFICE, REGIONAL TRAINING DELIVERY. The role is responsible for course development and facilitation of in-person and virtual instructor-led training on topics such as leadership development, power skills (communication, collaboration and teamwork, emotional intelligence, adaptability, problem solving, etc.), and customer service to frontline members, supervisors, and senior leaders. The incumbent will utilize industry-standard instructional design best practices and adult learning theories for designing and implementing performance solutions, incorporating interactive elements like videos, images, job aids, real-life scenarios, and exams to enhance knowledge transfer and the overall learning experience. The position involves serving on project teams, conducting needs assessments, evaluating current training curricula, revising existing programs, and developing new training programs. Administrative duties include coordinating training schedules, organizing travel plans, tracking costs and vehicle logs, and maintaining training records in iLearn, the department’s Learning Management System.
