About The Position

This role involves designing and performing experiments to support R&D projects in various genetic platforms, including NGS, Molecular, Cytogenetics, and Biochemical Genetics. The scientist will collaborate with clinical and product development teams to validate and transfer tests to clinical diagnostic workflows and execute R&D strategies. Responsibilities also include assisting with laboratory training, developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), performing clinical tests as needed, preparing validation materials, and conducting routine lab duties.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Biological Sciences with 5+ years of industry experience or equivalent.
• Extensive expertise in NGS and molecular biology techniques.
• Demonstrated success in technical documentation.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during test design, optimization and validation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with laboratory training and education of external team.

• Perform clinical tests as needed after proper training.
• Prepare validation materials for review in adherence to regulatory agencies and requirements.
• Conduct routine lab duties as assigned by supervisor, manager, or lab director.
