About The Position

Assists or shares primary responsibility with Research Scientists for development and refinement of all research methods used in research and evaluation projects, including all data collection procedures; computerization of data; data management; and data analysis. Primary responsibility for executing all data management and data collection tasks under the supervision of a Research Scientist.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in psychology, sociology, gerontology or related field
• Excellent skills in basic research methods
• Proficient in data collection procedures
• Proficient in database management and statistical analysis software such as SPSS
• Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with technical writing skills

Responsibilities

• Proposal writing
• Subject recruitment and consent
• Development, refinement, and execution of all data collection protocols
• Oversee and assist with data collection
• Assist with project oversight and dissemination of findings
• Oversee and assist with literature review
• Project coordination
• May be required to complete basic administrative tasks (e.g., scheduling meetings, ordering supplies, coordinating team activities.)
