About The Position

The Research Analyst will contribute to research projects with minimal guidance, developing analytic frameworks and methodologies for complex problems. This role involves building institutional knowledge of clients, collaborating effectively with colleagues, and supporting business development through high-quality work and proposal preparation. The analyst will interact with sponsors and clients, contribute to publications, and communicate research findings clearly and concisely. The position requires the ability to work independently on structured tasks and under supervision on more complex ones, potentially leading small projects. A positive attitude, clear guidance to colleagues, and taking responsibility for outcomes are essential. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum Master’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Ph.D. preferred.
  • Advanced degree in cognitive or behavioral science, neuroscience, psychology, or related field preferred.
  • Ph.D. & 0+ years or Master’s & 2+ years of experience in research and analysis.
  • Ability to make significant contributions to projects/analyses.
  • Strong analytic curiosity/ creativity.
  • Ability to operate independently in the execution of assignments.
  • Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary environment.
  • Strong critical thinking skills.
  • Knowledge of research techniques.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to interact positively and somewhat independently with clients.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an Active TS/SCI Security Clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience, background, or interest in human decision making, cognitive load, interaction effects with artificial intelligence, and/or human decision aids and tools.
  • Experience with quantitative methodologies, stochastic modeling and simulation, and/or statistics.

Responsibilities

  • Develop sound analytic frameworks and methodologies for structured and unstructured problems.
  • Define, structure, and execute pieces of complex studies to meet quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain institutional knowledge of primary clients/sponsors.
  • Contribute productively and harmoniously to the work of others.
