About The Position

S&P Global Energy is seeking candidates for our 10-week IMPACT Summer Internship Program from June 2026 within our Research and Analytics business. The team is a globally recognized team that provides strategic insights and expertise in energy markets, climate solutions, and sustainable strategies for clients across various sectors, including Oil, Gas, Power, Chemicals, Agri, and Metals. This internship offers a pathway to future career opportunities within S&P Global.

Requirements

  • Current undergraduate or graduate student graduating May 2027.
  • Must be available for internship from June - August.
  • Educational background in Engineering (Chemical, Energy, Petroleum, Mechanical) and related studies are preferred.
  • Must have experience or strong interest in commodities, energy global markets and overall interconnected energy business ecosystem.
  • Strong quantitative skills and research background, including experience using Excel and/or other data analytics tools.
  • Familiarity using Generative AI tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Intellectual curiosity and strong desire to learn and explore new ideas.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Right to Work Requirements: This role is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States.
