About The Position
Carrie Wang will assist my postdoc Dr. Anton-Grabo-Tomich with performing chemical reactions, doing electrode making, battery coin-cell assembly, battery testing and data analysis of said data. These reactions are associated with making cathode active material (CAM) in the laboratory.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in undergraduate or graduate studies at an accredited institution.
- Graduated from an accredited institution within the past 3 months.
- Actively enrolled in a graduate program at an accredited institution.
- Must be 18 years or older at the time the appointment begins.
- Must possess a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
- Knowledge of chemical synthesis is required.
- Knowledge of the math needed to balance chemical reactions is expected.
- Understanding of stoichiometries and weights, volumes, and moles associated with reaction set-up is important.
- Experience in applying math to such reactions is mandatory.
- Familiarity with laboratory equipment is needed.
- Ability to perform data analysis on battery data is needed.
