The Research Aide & Interviewer conducts research activities for an evaluation on a federally funded longitudinal research study, focused on language development of children aged birth to 9 years. Under the direction and supervision of the Project Director and Lead Research Associate, the Research Aide & Interviewer will assist with all project aspects related to material preparation, data collection (in-person and over phone, email, and/or zoom), data entry and coding, and data processing and cleaning. The incumbent assists the Project Director and Principal Investigator in the long-term and day-to-day progress towards project deliverables by facilitating the collection of data including child direct assessments, and is responsible for verifying the completeness and accuracy of assessment paperwork. This position is required to travel to and conduct data collection activities within homes in the assigned project area on a regular basis. As we work to schedule data collection activities flexibly to meet the needs of our participating families, the incumbent may be asked to complete work outside of primary working hours (M-F, 9am-5pm), including early morning and/or early evening appointments, as well as occasional weekend appointments. Other duties as assigned.
