The Research Administration Systems and Process Manager is responsible for the implementation, administration, integration, support, and continuous improvement of research administration systems, workflows, and processes across the University of Arkansas Division of Agriculture (UADA). Through the application of workflow design, automation, system integration, and process improvement, the position develops and maintains solutions that enhance efficiency, reduce administrative burden, improve the researcher experience, and support institutional research objectives. The position bridges research administration, research compliance, technology, and other research-related administrative units to deliver practical, scalable solutions. While primarily focused on research administration systems and processes supporting the Arkansas Agricultural Experiment Station (AAES) and Cooperative Extension Service (CES), the position may also leverage its expertise to support research-related strategic administrative initiatives across UADA that advance productivity, innovation, and organizational effectiveness. This position reports directly to the AAES Associate Director of Research Development and Compliance. This is not an information technology position; rather, it is a research administration position with systems expertise that requires close collaboration with UADA Information Technology and other institutional stakeholders. This is an on-site position based in Fayetteville, Arkansas, and is not eligible for remote work. Occasional in-state travel, including travel to Little Rock and other Division locations, is required.
