Resale Event Management Specialist
About The Position
The Resale Event Management team is responsible for the platform that facilitates resale operations. This platform manages a database of events and their associated information. The creation and configuration of events within this platform are critical for inventory to be available on our points of sale and for our broker tools, thus requiring meticulous attention to detail. A Resale Event Management Specialist will utilize their skills in the detailed setup of events, including troubleshooting and monitoring alerts for changes and updates across multiple online retail sites. This role offers a significant opportunity to gain practical experience within an eCommerce environment. The position is full-time, remote, and based in Chicago, Illinois, with office space available. A flexible work schedule, including evenings and weekends, is required, along with on-call duties on a rotating basis.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and interpret complex data
- Proven problem-solving skills with attention to detail and follow-up
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be self-directed and effective working independently, yet equally comfortable contributing in a team environment
- Strong computer skills including MS Office and Outlook
- Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends is necessary
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge/Interest in live entertainment events is desired with a focus on sporting events
Responsibilities
- Apply appropriate settings in our system to activate resale events, making them visible on our retail sites.
- Apply links for proper inventory display on multiple resale platforms.
- Verify event information for inventory listing.
- Monitor/apply data changes as needed to ensure event integrity and accuracy.
- Create/adjust artist and venue names as needed.
- Track multiple events and settings for reporting purposes.
- Troubleshoot and respond to customer needs.
- Identify system updates for continued process improvements.
- Maintain continuous inventory flow through the TMR systems.
- Provide support coverage through on-call and adjusting work hours.
