This position is responsible for the management and administration of the Core General Surgery Residency Program and Education and Assessment Responsibilities for the Department of Surgery. The role assists with the preparation for ACGME requirements for the residency program and supports the Program Director and Associate Program Director in meeting these goals. Key duties include maintaining academic records, monitoring resident progress, developing educational materials, coordinating clinical rotations and conferences, managing skills lab supplies, and planning ACGME-required meetings. The role also involves technical management of programs, including EPA data management, ensuring program compliance with ACGME requirements, and assisting with self-study and site visits. Additionally, it supports the planning and execution of intern orientation, weekly didactic sessions, and surgical courses. The position also manages the Transplant Fellowship, including recruitment, onboarding, and ensuring compliance with accreditation requirements. Furthermore, it assists with the Global Health Rotation logistics and administrative tasks such as responding to inquiries, processing appointments, administering exams, and managing reimbursements.
