About The Position

FRS, a division of Ecolab, is the largest provider of cleaning products, programs, and services in the food retail sector. Known as "Your Food Safety Experts," our mission is to provide a cleaning program to ensure our clients have a clean environment while offering savings on expenses. Our sales and service teams are expanding to meet the needs of our growing clientele, allowing us to continue to offer high-quality, rapid service. We currently have an excellent employment opportunity for a Service Manager.

Requirements

  • High school diploma; post-secondary diploma preferred.
  • 2 years of experience in the food service industry.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong customer management skills and exceptional consulting abilities.
  • Flexibility to adapt work schedule to meet client needs.
  • Demonstrated persuasiveness and ability to achieve goals.
  • Desire to become a top salesperson.
  • Good mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills for inspecting and repairing equipment and distribution systems.
  • Ability to lift and/or carry 50 pounds.
  • Good driving record.
  • Proficiency in French and professional knowledge of English.
  • Willingness to travel to the United States for technical training.
  • Must be willing to travel within the territory: Quebec, Saguenay, Lac St Jean, and surrounding areas.
  • Must be able to spend 6 nights per month away from home.
  • Must be available for customer needs on weekends every 3 months.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, serve, and manage a territory of food service clients, including franchisees, distributors, and store personnel.
  • Interact directly with clients, providing fast, personalized, and reliable service.
  • Develop and improve existing customer relationships within the assigned territory.
  • Provide food safety and sanitation training to clients.
  • Offer advice on quality assurance.
  • Conduct inspections.
  • Sell solutions to help clients meet food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Install, maintain, and repair equipment and distribution systems.
  • Become a certified NEHA and Serv-Safe professional.
