About The Position

Québec Linge is seeking a dynamic Customer Service Representative, ready to ensure the delivery of exceptional service and attentive management of our valuable clients' accounts. As a Customer Service Representative, you will embark on a multifaceted journey involving physical work, driving, delivery, customer service, and sales.

Requirements

  • High school diploma.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (a driving record is required).
  • Experience in physically demanding roles with heavy loads.
  • Proven experience in customer service, sales, and delivery services.
  • An exemplary history of attendance and punctuality at work.
  • Customer-focused attributes and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to lift 25 pounds to load/unload products from the truck without assistance and occasionally 50 pounds or more.
  • This position requires bending, squatting, climbing, and other physical tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely and secure deliveries within an established clientele.
  • Perform thorough inspections and proactive maintenance of the delivery truck and company equipment, promptly reporting any anomalies.
  • Load the delivery truck meticulously, anticipating and resolving potential product shortages before departure.
  • Apply safe lifting techniques, with an emphasis on vigilant movement of goods.
  • Drive the truck safely to designated locations, ensuring efficient delivery execution.
  • Deliver and retrieve uniforms, linens, towels, mats, cleaning products, and other rental items.
  • Confirm exact delivery quantities for each client and review inventories and storage areas during each visit.
  • Retrieve soiled merchandise and organize it securely in the vehicle.
  • Obtain electronic signatures for invoices and collect necessary payments.
  • Foster constant communication with the client's key personnel, building relationships and adding value with each delivery.
  • Solicit customer feedback to improve service levels, proactively and adequately addressing inquiries and concerns.
  • Consult with clients to promote new products, involving the director for complex opportunities.
  • Collaborate weekly with the director to develop solutions for current client needs.
  • Unload the truck and organize soiled merchandise upon return to the branch, ensuring a clean and orderly vehicle.
  • Report any vehicle accidents, mechanical issues, or malfunctions promptly.
  • Maintain the vehicle in an orderly fashion and accurately reconcile all delivery data upon route closure.
  • Demonstrate and develop skills aligned with the role.
