Repossession Agent
About The Position
The Repossession Field Agent's job involves communicating with internal staff, external team members and consumers delinquent on a payment agreement. You will be investigating and tracking the known locations of cars out for repossession, securing them, and towing the vehicles to the closest company storage facility. Once towed, you will be responsible for appropriate, timely and accurate documentation. All accounts are provided by established businesses. All Star Recovery is one of the most respected, rapidly expanding repossession firms in the country. We are seeking both full-time experienced field agents and those eager to learn and committed to a new profession. We have industry-leading technology and top-of-the-line recovery trucks that will help you excel at your job. The field agent requires a positive attitude and a high aptitude for problem-solving. You will be the face of our company to the public and will recover the collateral and assets for our clients. It requires very good people skills and the ability to communicate on all levels with all types of persons. Every person you meet needs to be treated with courtesy and respect regardless of the circumstances in which they find themselves or the attitude they exhibit.
Requirements
- At least 24 years or older.
- Clean driving record.
- Clean background.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Proven ability and experience working in an outside environment without direct supervision.
- Either possess or can acquire a DOT physical card and Class D commercial driver’s license.
- Basic mechanical ability.
- Basic computer skills including internet and email.
- Own a smartphone with service.
- You must have a clean driving record, pass a background and drug test.
- Clean, presentable appearance.
- Reliable.
- Strong work ethic.
- Loyal.
- Able to read, write and speak English with reasonable capability to be able to communicate with customers, employees, and vendors.
Nice To Haves
- Previous law enforcement or military a plus.
- Previous experience working as a tow truck operation, or in the repossession industry, as a flatbed operator, self-loader or tow dolly is encouraged.
- Industry certification a plus.
Responsibilities
