About The Position

This is a data and analytics development role within the Gulfstream Business Technology organization for the Enterprise Reporting team. This role directly supports the suite of Gulfstream Enterprise Reporting applications. Responsible for developing requirements, solution development, testing, deployment, and support of enterprise reporting solutions.

Requirements

• Experience developing and maintaining Power BI reports and dashboards used for operational and management reporting
• Working proficiency in DAX, including common measures, basic time intelligence, and calculated columns
• Hands-on experience with Power Query (M) to perform data transformations and data cleansing
• Experience working with Microsoft Fabric or modern Microsoft data platforms, including: Consuming data from Fabric Lakehouse or Warehouse, Using Dataflows (Gen1 or Gen2) to prepare data for reporting
• Solid understanding of data modeling fundamentals, including star schemas and fact/dimension tables
• Experience with SQL development in SQL Server and/or Oracle, including: Writing joins, aggregations, subqueries, and basic CTEs, Validating data outputs against source systems
• Experience implementing basic row-level security (RLS) within Power BI
• Ability to optimize reports for usability and performance (visual best practices, filtering, dataset sizing)
• Experience creating clear, audience-appropriate visualizations and presentations using Power BI, Excel, and PowerPoint or similar applications
• Ability to work from defined business requirements and ask clarifying questions when needed
• Demonstrated understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies (SDLC).
• Experience in conducting testing including design and execution of test cases.
• Demonstrated capability to understand data structures and create effective visualizations and reports that drive business insight and value.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working in Agile teams, including participation in sprint planning, stand-ups, and backlog grooming
• Microsoft Power BI certification (PL‑300 or similar), or progress toward certification
• Exposure to Microsoft Fabric concepts, such as OneLake and semantic models
• Experience supporting or enhancing existing enterprise BI solutions
• Exposure to predictive or advanced analytics outputs, such as consuming model results in reports
• Experience working with or transitioning from legacy reporting tools (e.g., SAP BusinessObjects or BW)

Responsibilities

• Engages stakeholders and technology users in identifying, analyzing, and documenting business requirements.
• Assists with defining test conditions and comprehensive test plans.
• Ensures applications processes are followed consistently and are in compliance with applicable policies, procedures, standards, etc.
• Performs normal administration tasks and system maintenance for reporting and data analytics applications and solutions.
• Under general supervision prepares requirements, specifications, and business process maps.
• Documents, develops, tests, deploys, and supports reporting and data analytics development using a variety of technical tools in support of business requirements.
• Conducts briefings and participates in technical meetings concerning specific projects or other activities.
• Participates in design reviews for implementation projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
