About The Position
The Faribault Daily News is seeking a reporter to write news stories for the daily print edition and online website. The reporter should be comfortable covering all types of news, including local government, events, features, hard news, breaking news and more. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter and a strong communicator, who is willing and able to get out in the community and make their presence felt.
Requirements
- An ability to write well
- Follow direction
- Get out and about to report
- Driver's License (Required)
- Ability to Relocate to Faribault, MN before starting work (Required)
Nice To Haves
- An associate's or bachelor's degree in a journalism related field and/or professional working experience is a plus.
