About The Position

Metroland Media is offering up to three year-long reporter internships in some of its digital-first community newsrooms. This 12-month contract is designed to be a launchpad for your career, immersing you in a real-world newsroom and providing you with meaningful hands-on reporting experience to build your portfolio. Available internships are in Barrie, Mississauga and Oshawa. Candidates must select their newsroom preference when submitting their application. While newsrooms operate virtually, working within a specific community requires a reporter to live nearby.
