About The Position

Argus Media has an opening on its emissions reporting team, providing the right candidate with an opportunity to delve into environmental markets policy. The successful candidate will cover the world of emissions credits trading and related news and analysis for an online news service as well as Air Daily, our market intelligence report for the emissions markets. You will have a passion for understanding how complex systems work and will relish the prospect of developing your skills in a role that melds data-driven analysis with traditional relationship-based reporting. There are opportunities to present at industry events and lead webinar sessions.

Requirements

The legal authorization to work in the US for any US employer.
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, economics, business or related field.
A commitment to the highest level of accuracy and the ability to complete all writing assignments within established deadlines.
Knowledge of energy and environmental issues; experience covering energy markets preferred.
Experience with Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
The willingness and ability to travel up to 10% of the time to fulfil the responsibilities of this position.
