About The Position

Assists Operations Manager and Warehouse Shift Supervisor with the daily operation of the shift to ensure the orders and assignments are carried out by the warehouse personnel in a timely and accurate manner. This role involves running production reports, assigning employees to tasks, conducting safety and incident investigations, handling communications, ordering supplies, and assisting with training. The Replenishment Lead also acts as a replacement for absent employees, serves as a liaison between shift employees and supervisors, and attends required meetings and training.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic Microsoft Office software skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Excellent attendance record
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment in the direction of the activities of the shift
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, conflict resolution, and teamwork skills
  • Knowledge of physical attributes of glass parts
  • Demonstrated advanced SAP and intermediate COPS knowledge
  • Problem solving skills and ability to multi-task
  • Demonstrated advanced working knowledge of departmental safety, quality and operational procedures
  • Prior Materials Handling Equipment experience (platform order picker, forklift, reach truck, etc.) and basic hand tools knowledge; must obtain and maintain appropriate certifications
  • Without assistance, must be able to lift, carry, push and/or pull objects weighing 35-45 pounds on average and up to 70 pounds on a frequent/daily basis
  • Able to work at heights of up to 30 feet
  • Must be able to work in temperatures similar to outdoors within the Central Ohio
  • Excellent driving record and valid driver’s license in accordance with Pilkington-AGR’s Motor Vehicle Safety Policy
  • Proficient in the English language (verbal and written)
  • Good customer/vendor relations and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Able to work both independently and as a team member

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience with leading a team
  • 2-3 years recent Materials Handling Equipment experience
  • Basic Microsoft Office software skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Completing daily production requirements
  • Running production reports
  • Assigning employees to job tasks
  • Safety and incident investigation/reporting
  • Gathering information and making recommendations on matters involving Pilkington N.A. policies and procedures
  • Handling shift communications, as needed
  • Ordering supplies, as necessary
  • Assisting with training of temporary and regular employees
  • Acting as a replacement for any absence for any position required on shift
  • Act as communications liaison between shift employees and shift supervisor/coordinator
  • Attend off-shift meetings and training, as required
  • Complete other duties as assigned
