The Repair Technician will diagnose, disassemble, and repair Stryker Instruments, including sub-assemblies, Loaners, Certified Pre-Owned items, and customer-owned units. The role ensures that all repairs meet quality, correctness, and proper procedure standards, adhering to safety and quality guidelines to meet product specifications. This position involves independent problem-solving, communication with the Support Team, and assisting peers, particularly those involved in international repair. The technician will also train new team members, share improvement suggestions, work across various work centers, and support colleagues by sharing knowledge and best practices. Compliance with documentation procedures, maintaining an orderly workstation, and completing required training on time are essential. The role requires accurate use of material flow processes and quick adaptation to changing conditions. Technicians will work from engineering drawings and/or follow documented instructions. Contribution to operations projects, Business Unit Projects, and Lean Continuous Improvement initiatives, including participation in Managing for Daily Improvement (MDI), problem-solving, and running Tier 1 meetings as needed, is expected. Submitting suggestions and solutions for safety, quality, or lean programs is also part of the role.
