The Repair Technician will diagnose, disassemble, and repair Stryker Instruments, including sub-assemblies, Loaners, Certified Pre-Owned items, and customer-owned units. This role ensures products meet safety, quality, and quantity standards by following procedures and directions. The technician will resolve issues independently, communicate updates to the Support Team, and assist peers by offering advice and solutions, including coaching for international repair. Training new team members, sharing improvement suggestions, and supporting other team members are key aspects of this position. The role requires compliance with document procedures, maintaining an orderly workstation, and timely completion of training. Accurate use of material flow processes and quick adaptation to changing conditions are essential. The technician will work from engineering drawings and/or documented instructions. Contribution to operations projects, Business Unit Projects, and Lean Continuous Improvement initiatives, including participation in MDI (Managing for Daily Improvement), problem-solving, and running Tier 1 as needed, is expected. Submitting suggestions and solutions in safety, quality, or lean programs is also part of the role.
