About The Position

The Repair Technician is responsible for diagnosing, testing, troubleshooting, and performing repair assembly on various computer hardware. Equipment includes, but is not limited to, notebooks, Chromebooks, desktops, and monitors. This position plays a critical role in our depot operations by ensuring client assets are repaired safely, accurately, and returned to service with minimal downtime.

Requirements

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Effective math skills and technical reading comprehension.
Ability to collaborate and work effectively within a team environment.
Ability to follow directions accurately and work under close supervision.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Strong analytical skills to diagnose problems and solve them independently.
Deep technical knowledge of computer architecture and components.
Prior professional hardware repair experience is required.
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.

Nice To Haves

Three (3) to five (5) years of hands-on experience in Computer Repair or hardware repair field is preferred.
CompTIA A+ Certification is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Perform precision disassembly and reassembly of computers and related peripherals.
Execute hardware repairs, including operating system (OS) reloads.
Complete repairs using CSS application processes.
Efficiently test, troubleshoot, and diagnose complex hardware and software issues.
Proactively identify, document and report quality issues.
Maintain strong fine motor skills and dexterity to safely use hand tools and repair equipment.
Meet high and consistent daily volume targets (throughput) on all assigned repairs.
Apply strict attention to detail to ensure low defect rates.
Demonstrate regular, punctual, and satisfactory attendance.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
