About The Position

Headquartered in Veldhoven, the Netherlands, ASML operates 18 offices across the United States, including major sites in Chandler, Arizona; San Jose and San Diego, California; Wilton, Connecticut; and Hillsboro, Oregon. EO Technical Solutions (EOT) is based in Vancouver, Washington and is focused on repair and refurb of a broad portfolio of ASML PAS and XT platform parts. EOT is a small organization that was acquired by ASML in 2023. In addition to parts repair, EOT provides customer training and field support. Requirements

  • Technical training or education in electronics, electrical repair, or a related field is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to solder and rework both through-hole and surface-mount components.
  • Hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing electronic assemblies or PCBs is highly valued.
  • Practical experience following written work instructions, schematics, or repair procedures.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn are essential.
  • Proven attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality, consistent work.
  • Demonstrated ability to observe and respond appropriately to people and situations encountered in the course of work.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electronic assemblies at the component and board level, with a strong focus on printed circuit boards (PCBs).
  • Perform soldering and rework on both through-hole and surface-mount components, following best practices for quality and reliability.
  • Interpret and follow work instructions, schematics, bills of materials, and repair documentation accurately.
  • Use diagnostic tools and test equipment (such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power supplies) to identify faults and verify repairs.
  • Document repair actions, findings, and test results clearly and accurately.
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure repairs meet functional and quality standards.
  • Work efficiently to meet productivity goals while maintaining consistent workmanship.
  • Follow established processes, safety guidelines, and ESD (electrostatic discharge) procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding repair status, issues, and improvement opportunities.
  • Support continuous improvement by identifying recurring issues or potential process enhancements.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and properly care for tools and equipment.
