This role involves diagnosing, disassembling, and repairing Stryker Instruments, including sub-assemblies, Loaners, Certified Pre-Owned items, and customer-owned units. The primary goal is to ensure that all repaired products meet stringent quality, correctness, and safety standards, adhering to proper procedures and product specifications. The technician will independently resolve issues, communicate updates to the Support Team, and assist peers, particularly those involved in international repair, by offering advice, solutions, and coaching. Training new team members, sharing insights for improvement, and supporting other team members and support staff through knowledge sharing, best practices, and experience are key aspects of this position. The role also requires strict adherence to documentation procedures, maintaining an orderly and compliant workstation, and completing all required training on time. Accurate use of material flow processes and quick adaptation to changing conditions are essential. Work will be performed based on engineering drawings and/or documented instructions. Additionally, the technician will contribute to operations projects, Business Unit Projects, and Lean Continuous Improvement initiatives, participating in MDI (Managing for Daily Improvement), problem-solving, and potentially running Tier 1 meetings. Submitting suggestions and solutions for safety, quality, or lean programs is also expected.
