About this role: The Repair Technician diagnoses, troubleshoots, repairs, tests, and configures technology equipment to ensure devices meet operational and quality standards. This role performs hardware repairs, replaces defective components, conducts quality checks, and maintains accurate repair documentation. The Repair Technician works in a fast-paced warehouse and technical service environment, prioritizing repair activities to meet service expectations while following established procedures, safety guidelines, and quality standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Technical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electronic equipment, hardware, or technology devices.
  • Ability to accurately document repair activities and enter information into company systems.
  • Ability to follow established procedures, technical instructions, work orders, and quality standards.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications and business systems.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • 1–3 years of experience as a repair technician, bench technician, hardware support technician, or in a related technical role.
  • Experience repairing electronic devices, mobility equipment, POS systems, printers, handheld scanners, barcode equipment, or related hardware.
  • Experience using diagnostic tools, testing equipment, and repair procedures.
  • Experience with inventory tracking, repair ticket systems, or service management systems.
  • Experience working in a warehouse, repair center, logistics, or technical operations environment.
  • Soldering experience, including applying solder paste to individual connector pins to repair blind leads on surface-mount connectors.
  • Technical certification or related technical education.
  • Experience working within service-level expectations and established quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technology equipment and hardware issues.
  • Repair electronic equipment and technology devices by replacing defective components and performing necessary adjustments.
  • Test and configure repaired equipment to verify functionality and compliance with quality standards.
  • Perform quality checks and visually inspect equipment and components for defects or repair needs.
  • Follow established repair procedures, technical documentation, work orders, safety guidelines, and quality standards.
  • Accurately document diagnoses, repairs, testing, and other repair activities within company systems.
  • Maintain accurate inventory, equipment, and repair records.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple repair tasks to meet service expectations and operational requirements.
  • Use diagnostic tools, testing equipment, hand tools, and specialized repair instruments safely and effectively.
  • Support equipment handling, staging, inventory activities, and shipping operations as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support repair operations and overall business objectives.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Stay current with new technologies, repair methods, and systems.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
