Reporting to the Repair and Maintenance Lead, the Repair and Maintenance Technician position is a pivotal role responsible for maintenance and repair of electrical and mechanical systems on trailer equipment.

Requirements

Valid drivers license and clean drivers abstract
2+ years of experience with mechanical or electrical maintenance
Ability to read circuit diagrams to assist in repair

Nice To Haves

Diploma or education as an Electrical Technologist or related field
Welding or soldering experience considered an asset

Responsibilities

Inspect, maintain, and repair electrical and mechanical systems on trailer equipment
Assess equipment and provide accurate diagnosis of needed repairs
Managing inventory levels of needed parts and equipment for repairs
Provide technical phone support whether in-person or over the phone
Use of hand power tools such as drills, impact, grinder, etc.
Perform basic maintenance and repairs on bearings, tires, and axles
