Repair Technician - POS Systems

RTG is currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Repair Technician Level 1 to join our team at our headquarters in Fenton, Missouri. In this role, you will troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and refurbish POS and POS-related equipment to ensure all devices meet RTG quality standards. Requirements
- Strong understanding of basic electronics and troubleshooting processes
- Proficient with basic hand tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Ability to take direction and remain composed in a fast-paced setting
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
Nice To Haves
- Some college coursework in an IT-related field or equivalent work experience preferred
- Solid understanding of PC hardware and troubleshooting
- Previous Point of Sale (POS) experience is a plus, but not required
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair POS and POS-related equipment, including: Point of sale terminals, Impact printers, Thermal printers, Ink jet printers, Servers, Network switches and routers, Workstations, Kitchen video systems
- Refurbish equipment and ensure all repairs meet RTG quality standards
- Meet required weekly production goals
- Maintain an organized and safe work environment
- Collaborate with team members to support operational efficiency
