About The Position

IGT is seeking a Repair Technician II to join our Nevada Repair Depot team in Reno. In this hands-on role, you will troubleshoot, repair, refurbish, and test gaming equipment and related electronic components to ensure they meet established quality and repair standards. This opportunity is well suited for someone with experience in repair, production, assembly, product testing, technical support, electronics, or gaming equipment. You’ll work with diagnostic tools, technical documentation, and a collaborative team to identify equipment issues and complete repairs accurately and on time.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1–3 years of hands-on experience in repair, production, assembly, product testing, technical support, electronics, or a related field.
  • Basic computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office or similar programs.
  • Ability to follow technical manuals, work instructions, and repair procedures.
  • Willingness and ability to learn depot-specific repair processes, tools, and systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to complete repairs accurately.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to manage assigned tasks and meet deadlines.

Nice To Haves

  • Certificate or associate degree in Electronics Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics.
  • Experience with gaming equipment, electronic components, or repair depot operations.
  • Soldering experience, including surface-mount and through-hole components.
  • Experience using electronic test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, or diagnostic fixtures.
  • Experience with parts handling, inventory support, equipment handling, or repair support processes.
  • Experience using SAP or a similar business system.

Responsibilities

  • Refurbish gaming equipment parts according to established repair and reconditioning standards.
  • Troubleshoot and repair PC boards, sub-assemblies, and other depot repair items.
  • Use diagnostic tools and established repair procedures to identify equipment failures and verify completed repairs.
  • Read and follow technical manuals, work instructions, schematics, and repair procedures.
  • Perform hands-on testing and troubleshooting of electronic components and equipment.
  • Maintain accuracy and attention to detail throughout the repair process.
  • Work collaboratively with teammates, internal customers, and support teams.
  • Manage assigned work and complete repairs within established timelines.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
