About The Position

The Dufresne Group is seeking a Repair Manager based in Winnipeg, MB, to cover their Winnipeg & Saskatoon region. This role is responsible for formulating and communicating operational plans, standards, and goals, managing the activities, scheduling, and work assignments for In-Home, Store, and In-Shop Service Technicians, including performance evaluation, training, and counseling. The Repair Manager will also liaise with Distribution, Transportation, Service, and Repair Planning to determine workload requirements, and ensure compliance with all safe work practices and rules, leading the repair team in safety recognition and implementation.

  • Must be based in Winnipeg, MB, covering Winnipeg & Saskatoon region.

Responsibilities

  • Formulating, documenting, and communicating operational plans, standards, and goals as set by the Regional Director of Repair.
  • Managing the activities, scheduling, and work assignments for the In-Home, Store and In-Shop Service Technicians, including performance evaluation, training, and counselling.
  • Liaising with Distribution, Transportation, Service and Repair Planning to determine workload requirements.
  • Understanding, following and ensuring compliance with all safe work practices and rules, including leading the repair team in safety recognition and implementation with respect to all repair department processes and practices.
  • Assuring compliance with all Company policies and procedures.
  • Directing subordinates and delegating tasks to ensure timely and quality service.
  • Coordinating in-shop repairs (including ship prep), and in-home service calls while achieving established monthly goals.
  • Maintaining service vehicles and providing required documentation for defined maintenance program and insurance requirements.
  • Inventory Management: Storage Location Maintenance, Clearance Approval, Product Movement.
  • Coordinating 3rd party repairs.
  • Overseeing parts receiving and inspection.
  • Demonstrating the company’s values in all aspects of their work performance.
  • Monitoring and analyzing performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and developing action plans to address.
  • Leveraging Automation and identifying “best in class” repair techniques.
  • Managing, and Celebrating the National Certification program and the teams' capabilities.
