About the role Position Summary Sulzer is a non-OEM rotating equipment repair facility located in the Houston area. Sulzer is comprised of several divisions that include the Component Repair Division. Departments within the Component Repair division include Combustion, Stationary, Mechanical, Rotating, Fuel/Flow and Inspection departments. Each department is dedicated to refurbishment of gas turbine components and sub-assembly parts. The Gas Turbine Component Repair Project Engineer is responsible for developing inspection and repair workscopes for stationary and rotating gas turbine components and managing multiple repair projects from receipt through delivery. The engineer works closely with operations, sales and external vendors to define repair methods, generate purchase orders, control cost, and resolve technical issues throughout the repair cycle.
