About The Position
We are seeking a Repair Design Engineer or Stress Engineer with a strong understanding of design and hands-on experience working on non-conformances (MRB/repair dispositions). The ideal candidate will have experience in repair design for aircraft primary and secondary structures, with a background in working on the shop floor. This role involves supporting aerostructures non-conformance disposition, repair design, discrepant hardware evaluation, repair concepts, technical substantiation, and repair documentation.
Requirements
- Experience as a Repair Design Engineer or Stress Engineer.
- Strong understanding of design.
- Hands-on experience working on non-conformances (MRB/repair dispositions).
- Experience in repair design for aircraft primary and secondary structures.
- Experience working on the shop floor.
- Experience with CATIA V5.
- Experience with GD&T.
- Experience in Aerospace Repair Design.
- Experience in Aircraft Structural Repairs.
- Experience with Composite Structures.
- Experience with Non-Conformance (MRB) Support.
- Experience with repair substantiation.
- Experience in the Aerospace domain.

Responsibilities
- Support aerostructures non-conformance disposition.
- Perform repair design.
- Evaluate discrepant hardware.
- Develop repair concepts.
- Provide technical substantiation for repairs.
- Create repair documentation.
- Coordinate with Manufacturing, Quality, Stress, Design, and Certification teams.
- Utilize CATIA V5 and GD&T for repair design of aero structures metallic and/or composite structures.
- Manage engineering release/change control.
- Perform repair substantiation.
