About The Position

US Foods is looking for a Repacker who relishes the chance to push their potential, grow, and reap the rewards of joining the US FOODS® family. This role assists with reducing inventory shrink and improving warehouse organization. US FOODS® is the company built on YOU Matter, where your hard work is rewarded. The starting pay rate is: $19.53/hour. Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00am until 3:30pm.

Requirements

High School Diploma/GED
Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
Ability to work independently.
Safely operate electric pallet jack.
Good communication skills – written and oral.
Working knowledge of Excel.
Willing and able to work weekends and holidays on a rotational basis.
Must be dependable.
Ability to work in a multi-temperature environment
Able to stand for long periods of time.
Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs.

Nice To Haves

Warehouse experience/foodservice product & processes knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

Evaluate damaged product for disposition (repack for sale, salvage, dump).
Repack damaged product determined to be saleable.
Record proper information on repackaged product (lot #, date, etc.) whether for sale or salvage.
Properly record all dumped product.
Assist with tracking of dated products to minimize product lost due to date issues.
Keep work area clean and organized.
Other duties as assigned.
