Requirements
- High school diploma, G.E.D.
- Employee is regularly required to stand, walk, climb, kneel, crouch, or crawl to reach freight.
- Must be able to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Must be able to push up to 40 pounds.
- Must be able to pull up to 55 pounds.
- Standing for long periods, general bending and twisting are associated with lifting.
Responsibilities
- Accurately record data and input information to the inventory system for products and other miscellaneous goods in order of deliveries, and scanning of product onto the truck.
- Manage and report all damaged products.
- Pulling/stocking orders when necessary for shipping.
- Sorting products.
- Assist team lead preparing orders for shipment.
- Pick all items ordered by sales reps.
- Pack items in boxes or totes.
- Stack products on pallet to minimize damages in shipment.
- Verify orders are labeled for the correct sales rep (NE).
- Remove trash and empty boxes from pick slots and warehouse floor (NE).
- Breakdown freight to receive.
- Slot products (new or returned).
- Pull reserve products when slots need replenishment.
- Pack seasonal promotions.
- Assist in other areas.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
