About The Position

This role involves handling yard operations and local equipment deliveries for a construction equipment rental company. It offers a balance between local driving and hands-on yard work, ensuring employees are home every night. The position is described as a "launching pad" for careers in equipment rentals, service, or parts.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED
• A valid CDL Class A license and acceptable driving record
• Someone who enjoys working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Physically able to handle lifting, bending, twisting, pushing, and pulling
• A safety-first mindset with integrity and reliability
• A team player who doesn’t mind jumping in wherever needed

Responsibilities

• Perform checks to ensure equipment is clean, safe, and rent-ready
• Handle local deliveries and transfers (no long-haul driving)
• Load, secure, and unload equipment safely
• Work closely with team members and customers during pickups and returns
• Help maintain a safe yard and report any issues
• Support the rental, service, and parts teams with yard operations
