About The Position

As a Rental Technician, you help guests get geared up, comfortable, and confident before they hit the slopes. You use your passion for skiing or snowboarding, interest in helping people, and sport knowledge to deliver high-quality guest service. The role includes welcoming guests, fitting rental equipment, sharing gear and mountain knowledge, and troubleshooting equipment issues. Compensation is $19–$21 per hour plus commission, adjusted based on experience.

Requirements

• Outgoing, friendly, and comfortable talking about ski or board equipment.
• Enjoy skiing or snowboarding, or be eager to learn.
• Flexible schedule, including holidays, weekends, and split shifts.
• Able to stand for extended periods.
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Basic computer skills for processing transactions and documentation.
• Strong written and verbal English fluency.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with energy and enthusiasm and create a fun, friendly shop experience.
• Fit guests for boots, skis, snowboards, and poles.
• Pass binding certification tests to become a certified safety expert.
• Share knowledge of gear and mountain culture and guide guests toward suitable equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and provide technical solutions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
