About The Position

This position will start once the snow flies and is hiring for Full-Time/Part-Time seasonal roles, including Part-Time Seasonal for Christmas Break and Holiday Weekends. The role involves establishing rapport and assessing customer needs for equipment rental and repair, assisting guests through the rental process with a high level of customer service, and maintaining the cleanliness of the Rental Shop and equipment.

Requirements

Service oriented personality.
Detail oriented with ability to set and meet high customer service standards.
Proper etiquette while conversing with guests.
Detailed knowledge of equipment in Rental Shop.
Detailed knowledge of all procedures and operations involved in equipment rental.
Proficient in up-selling products and services.
Must become certified and competent in properly adjusting bindings.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Must be flexible and capable of bending, twisting and kneeling.
Must be able to work in tight space with balance.
Must be able to work on feet, stand and walk for up to 8 hours shift.
Must be able to keep up with the pace of the department demands of the position.
Regular and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

Assist guests in properly filling out iPads or paperwork.
Fit guests with boots.
Proficiently adjust bindings.
Operate cash register and follow cash handling procedures.
Perform daily cleaning and maintenance tasks.
Sell package upgrades, demo skis, and tuning services to guests.
Accurately recommend the appropriate demo equipment for each customer.
Return equipment to proper place after inspection and guest check out.
Assist Ski Check when assigned.
Actively participate in RLK and Company’s Health & Safety Program by identifying and reporting potential hazards, reporting incidents, and promoting a healthy workplace.
Exercise stewardship of all RLK and Company facilities and environments, ensuring that efforts are made to reduce, reuse, and recycle when the opportunity is present.
Maintain and clean Rental Shop and equipment.
