About The Position

The Rental Shop Technician is responsible for assisting in the outfitting process of guests in need of rental skis or snowboards. This role involves checking and assigning equipment, assisting with boot fitting, and providing excellent customer service to resort guests. The technician will also support the Food & Beverage department as needed and may be asked to perform other duties to ensure the overall efficiency of the operation.

Requirements

• Excellent English communication skills.
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, cross-train, multi-task, and prioritize tasks.
• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Must be able to complete Salomon Binding Technician Training and Certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the outfitting process of guests needing rental skis or snowboards.
• Check and assign baskets to guests.
• Check and assign skis and snowboards.
• Assist in boot fitting and ski/snowboard dispatch.
• Greet and assist guests.
• Provide support for the Food & Beverage department as needed.
• Coordinate and cooperate with other departments.
• Answer questions about the resort to guests.
• Perform other duties to contribute to the cleanliness, orderliness, and overall efficiency of the operation.
