The Power Systems Used Equipment Sales Rep position works with customers, other dealers, and Wagner personnel to purchase and sell used equipment (engines, generators, and air compressors.) that reflects the company’s vision of working as “One Professional Team.” Pay Rate: Base Salary + Commission Pay is based upon education and experience. Essential Functions: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions. Uses the internet and industry relationships to source and sell used equipment. Uses photos and inspection reports to assign the value to used equipment. When needed, travel to seller’s facility to inspect used equipment. Uses technical knowledge to estimate needed repairs to make used equipment more sellable. Work with service departments to define scope of repair work and assure repair invoice is appropriate for repair work performed. Assures Wagner and industry web sites are maintained with current photos and pricing for used equipment. Emails special used equipment offers to self-created list of used equipment dealers, brokers, and customers. Determine when used equipment should be disposed of via auction and work with Auction House to sell the used equipment via auction. Regularly looks for used equipment that can be purchased and resold at good margins. If purchased used equipment is not as advertised, negotiate pricing, or return to seller. Produce professional quotes in a timely manner including repair and freight costs. Write sales orders that include all known and estimated costs related to the sale. Work with Sales Admin to assure invoices are accurate and timely. Arranges inbound and outbound freight. Other duties as assigned by manager. Required Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED College Degree Preferred 1+ years customer service experience 1+ years sales experience preferred. 3+ years technical, electrical, mechanical experience preferably with engines, generators, and air compressors. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ years customer service experience
  • 3+ years technical, electrical, mechanical experience preferably with engines, generators, and air compressors.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • 3+ years experience, preferably in a heavy equipment environment, involving customer service responsibilities
  • 1+ years administrative/clerical experience
  • 1+ years customer service experience

Nice To Haves

  • College Degree Preferred
  • 1+ years sales experience preferred.
  • Courses in computers, business, and office administration preferred
