About The Position

The Rental Management Trainee program is designed to be completed in 18-24 months, providing comprehensive training in general rental management, as well as specific areas such as Finance, Operations, Human Resources, and Sales/Marketing. The incumbent will be involved in operational and administrative tasks supporting location and regional management. This fast-paced program offers exposure to all aspects of the business unit.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a similar related degree.
  • One (1) year or more of customer service experience with issue resolution preferred.
  • Must be computer literate (intermediate required).

Responsibilities

  • Handling sales and processing for inbound calls as well as outbound solicitation.
  • Maintaining current and accurate data within the company's marketing database.
  • Generating rental, lease, and used vehicle sales leads.
  • Managing all rental asset processes, including vehicle PM and cleanliness standards.
  • Meeting overall Ryder market share by successfully executing sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Maintaining compliance with company, local, state, federal, and other regulatory agencies.
  • Reconciling customer concerns, issues, and disputes to maintain ongoing relationships and grow the customer base.
  • Performing the role of On-Call Representative based on work schedules as determined by Supervisor (voluntary basis and based on scheduling).
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
