About The Position
Budget Car & Truck Rental is hiring a Full-Time Rental Sales Agent in Omaha at the Airport. This role is ideal for individuals with experience in customer service, hospitality, or retail who enjoy building customer relationships. The company provides comprehensive training to equip agents for success in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. The agent will assist customers in selecting appropriate rental solutions, deliver excellent service throughout the rental process, and promote products and services to improve the customer's travel experience.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of customer service experience
- Demonstrated stable work history
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with general office equipment
- Valid driver's license with no more than two moving violations and/or at-fault accidents
- Must pass a drug screen and background check
Responsibilities
- Open and close rental agreements while delivering personalized, high-quality customer service
- Clearly answer customer questions regarding charges, vehicle condition, directions, and other concerns
- Recommend optional products including protection coverage, GPS, fuel options, and vehicle upgrades
- Occasionally shuttle vehicles to and from nearby locations
- Perform office duties including answering phones, photocopying, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace
- Support teammates by assisting other rental agents or nearby locations as needed
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned
