About The Position

The Rental Return Specialist will be responsible for conducting thorough visual inspections of vehicles upon return to identify any signs of damage. This role involves accurately documenting any found damage using video, photographs, and written reports. The specialist will interact with returning customers in a courteous and professional manner to clarify damage incidents. Responsibilities also include uploading and organizing inspection documentation in the company’s claims system, collaborating with the Claims Manager to prioritize and escalate claims, and coordinating with Rental Fleet Service and Maintenance teams to flag vehicles needing immediate attention. Additionally, the role will assist in identifying patterns of recurring damage or high-risk usage.

Requirements

• Must possess and maintain a valid, unexpired driver's license.
• Must possess and maintain a clean driving record.
• High attention to detail with strong observational skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Ability to work outdoors and walk around vehicles in all weather conditions.
• Comfortable using mobile apps or tablets for data entry and photo capture.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in vehicle inspection, insurance, rentals, or claims.
