About The Position

Louisiana Cat is seeking a high-energy, ambitious Rental Outside Sales Representative for its Rental Division. This role will cover specific parishes in Louisiana and involves aggressively pursuing and closing rental opportunities within an assigned territory. The ideal candidate must be disciplined, ambitious, and highly competitive, serving as a sales consultant for customer accounts.

Requirements

• Strong sales consultative communication skills as the role is customer-facing.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to travel within the defined sales territory.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License with a clean Motor Vehicle Record.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge or experience using CRM (Customer Relations Management) software such as Salesforce.
• Knowledge of construction processes and commonly used construction machinery.

Responsibilities

• Provide equipment rental solutions for customers through knowledge of Louisiana Cat rental products.
• Develop assigned territory to maximize potential for customers and the company.
• Build rapport with new and existing customers.
• Serve as a sales consultant for customer accounts in the defined territory.
• Collaborate with the Rental Sales Manager to establish sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
