About The Position

The Rental Lot Operations Associate works on-site outdoors across the Madison Airport rental lots to help keep vehicles clean, organized, and ready for customers. The role uses a handheld mobile device to update vehicle status, supports customers during pickup and return, and helps coordinate vehicle movement in a fast-paced rental operation. Duties also include recording vehicle details, inspecting vehicles, repositioning vehicles, and assisting with detailing as needed.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license for at least two years and have a good driving record.
• Demonstrate professionalism, enthusiasm, and outstanding communication skills with customers, co-workers, and management.
• Have basic computer skills, including typing and data entry.
• Be comfortable using mobile devices.
• Be customer-focused and have a friendly attitude.
• Be able to work outdoors and stay physically active.
• Be able to stand, walk, and move around the lot for extended periods.
• Be able to enter, exit, and drive multiple vehicle types.
• Have flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Track and record vehicle status using a handheld mobile device.
• Greet customers, answer questions, and provide friendly, professional service.
• Record vehicle mileage, fuel levels, and condition during check-in and check-out, and enter information accurately into the system.
• Inspect vehicles for body damage, mileage, and fuel level.
• Keep vehicles clean, available, and correctly positioned in the lot.
• Drive and reposition a variety of vehicles as needed.
• Assist with detailing vehicles as needed.
